I've never really looked into what the difference is, and I recollect some vague thing about allocated RAM, which I actually may have just made up, and its nothing to do with that at all, but 64 bit plugins are more bacwards compatible, so although they understand a 32 bit host, I think they're more inclined to use all the hosts resources and leave none for anyone else.to put it in more "human" terms.

I've had FL hang because of a 32 bit plugin that got into some problems making sense of "future tech" It could maybe get a general grasp, but there will be new events that will make it crash 'n' burn. I have no idea why.Ħ4-bit plugins / VST3 worked like a charm.yeah, I've had similar weird problems myself but not usually with automation, and I guess, if a 32 bit plugin were a human, a 64 bit host would be like a visitor from the future, and it can't relate to things it doesn't know about yet. Having said that, when I do a real-time-export in Cubase, the automation was recorded properly, so go figure.I think with a regular export, a 64-bit host is having issues with bouncing 32-bit plugins something to do with the calculations. It took me about 6 hours of experimenting to see that with a 64 bit host, don't ever use 32-bit plugins, stick to 64 bit. I tried to record a simple automation of a 32-bit (vst2) plug-in and the result on the recorded track was completely off. I'm using Cubase 5.5.3 (64-bit), and the other day I noticed what kind of NIGHTMARE it is to work with 32-bit plugins. Has anyone any experience of using another different bridging program that they would reccommend for running 32 bit vst in a 64 bit host, that runs flawlessly ? If I install JBridge, won't jbridge and ilbridge both try to load the vst at the same time ?Ģ. I've had a look at jbridge, but there are a few things I'm unsure of, and I thought someone here may have experience of using it, or something similar, in FL studio.ġ. Plugins dont load right, lose their connections etc.so I'm entertaining the possibility of getting a better vst bridge, so that I can continue to use my old beloved 32 bit VSTs flawlessly, as if they were 64 bit.

Maybe others have a different experience but i'm constantly having problems with Fls "ilbridge".
